Wedding Requirements & Costs
If you want to get married in Dominica, you will need a Dominica Marriage License, which can be acquired at the Ministry Of Social Services, Community Development and Gender Affairs in Roseau, Dominica. To initiate your journey towards a dream wedding and perfect Caribbean luxury vacations, the Marriage Application, FORM "G", must be completed and signed by both the Bride and Groom. This application must also be notarized.
For couples applying for the Regular Marriage License, it’s essential to be in Dominica for two days prior to their wedding ceremony. Please note that laws, fees, and requirements are subject to change.
**DOCUMENTATION REQUIREMENTS TO OBTAIN MARRIAGE LICENSE:**
- A Valid Passport
- A Birth Certificate
- Two Passport-sized photos
- If the applicant has been divorced, the Original or Certified Copy of the Divorce Decree is required as proof.
- If the applicant has been widowed, both the Original or Certified Copy of the Marriage and Death Certificates for the deceased spouse are necessary.
- If the applicant is under the age of 18 years, a Sworn certified affidavit of Consent stamped and signed by a Notary Public is needed.
- If the applicant does not understand or speak English, or if the documentation is not in English, an authentic translator must be provided.

Notarial, registration fees, and marriage Certificate License fees are subject to change, approximately ranging from $91.00 to $273.00.
